Night of the Living Flash


Flash is dead . . . again . . . yawn

This week has been a bit of a roller coaster in the Flash Community reminiscent of the shot heard round the world when Steve Jobs announced no Flash Support on Apple’s iOS devices. For those who are not familiar with what’s happened, Adobe announced it is ceasing development on the mobile version of Flash Player. There are a lot of takes on what has happened, and people are not afraid to share them, so not to be left out here are mine.

Apple and Adobe: a Fanboi’s Dilemma

I’m not usually one to write an opinion post, but as I have been thinking about the whole Apple and Adobe thing I can’t help but to involve myself in some capacity. To start, I am both a FanBoi of Apple and of Adobe, and have been since the days of Photoshop 5, and the iMac G3 that I began my professional journey on. Both companies have not only allowed me to paint my own professional future, but they have made it possible to get here, and a load of fun along the way.
